Marineplex plywood is made by using a special type of glue that is resistant to water and decay, this makes it more durable and suitable for harsh marine environments.

Marineplex plywood is generally available in thicknesses of 3mm to 25mm, and is usually sold in standard 4x8 or 4x10 foot sheets, but other sizes are also available. It is also usually coated with a phenolic film on both sides to give it a smooth surface and make it waterproof.
